The January full moon is commonly called wolf moon as it was thought that back in time when wolves were still present they hauled more as there was not much food available.
This January the moon rose in the late afternoon around d sunset which created beautiful colours.
The Upper Sure National Park in Northern Luxembourg is full of magic spots to observe the evening sky.
In the Lofoten Island the beach in Ramberg is well known. Especially in the long summer days people gather to watch the midnight sun. This little red hut lies a bit hidden in the middle of the beach and has become one of the mist photographed places in the Lofoten islands.
I took this long-exposure image on a cloudy and windy day last summer and love the deep colours.
