I have been diving the Gombe quarry a couple of times now and mostly post pictures from the sturgeons. This dive site features as well two major wrecks : a tank and a plane. The plane was donated by the Belgium army. It is a F-84F Thunderstreak.
Here a view of the quarry before it transforms into a huge steam bath. On week-ends more than 100 divers enter this little pool in the afternoons. So the best time to dive is on Saturday mornings.
