Lady in Black

Photo of the day, Photography, pool photography, underwater

“Lady in Black” is a special underwater series. All images ARE taken underwater! I mention this only because some people asked me about it. The images were all post processed with an infra-red filter.

β€œWhen you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!”
― Ted Grant

There are special infra-red filters to use directly on-camera while shooting but this is hardly possible while model shooting. The IR filters are very dark and hence light consuming which needs you to use very long shutter times. Underwater even if I’d use a tripod, my model wouldn’t be able to stay still that long to get sharp pictures πŸ™‚

I hope you enjoy!

Impressions

Photography, Travels, underwater

Some impressions of our last days diving. The weather Gods are on our side again and we enjoyed another day diving around Limasawa.

Unfortunately the invasion is on its way…

The night dive around Padre Burgos Pier is always fun. Loads of critters can be found around the concrete legs or in the sandy area around…

First impressions from Southern Leyte

Today we had our first day diving with Southern Leyte Divers. Unfortunately the rain Gods were on our side almost all day, but this didn’t prevent us from enjoying our 2 dives.
I really enjoyed playing around with my macro lens again.

This evening the sunsets brought great colors and dramatic clouds…..before it started raining again πŸ™‚
