This shot was taken at the end of a beautiful day in Tikal, Guatemala. We were sitting high on top of the Lost World. A place where the Mayas studied astronomy. At sunset, we were silently sitting up there, watching the parrots, tucans and other birds preparing for the night. The jungle below us was shimmering in golden tones.

National Day in Luxembourg

Tomorrow is national Day here in Luxembourg. Festivities start tonight with music,party and fireworks.
Most of the people gather in Luxembourg City .

This is NOT Luxembourg, but fireworks in Chichicastenango, Guatemala during a one week’s festivities.
It’s a shame you can’t hear the noise out of this picture.
